Skip to content As a leading childcare provider, Little Learners Day Nursery like to ensure parents are involved in their child’s nursery development. We host events throughout the year and it’s great to see parents participation at the nursery.
The nursery is open all year round with the exception of University and Union shut down days and all public holidays which are detailed in our operating calendar.
The nursery opens at 08:00 and closes at 18:00.

AM Session: 08:00 – 13:00
PM Session: 13:30 – 18:00
Full days: 08:00 – 18:00
Our funded period covers between 36-38 weeks of our annual operating calendar, outside these times the non-funded rates applies. The funded periods are set at the start of each academic year and can be found in on our operating calendar.
Some students may be eligible for financial help. For more information, speak with an advisor from Student Advice in the Students Union.

You can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year).
If you’ve already registered, you can sign in to your childcare account.
If you get Tax-Free Childcare, you’ll set up an online childcare account for your child. For every £8 you pay into this account, the government will pay in £2 to use to pay your provider.
You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as 30 hours free childcare if you’re eligible for both.

To apply for a place at Little Learners Nursery please fill in the Register of Interest Form. Please note that filling in this form does not guarantee a place at Little Learners as places are allocated according to availability.
If you would like to amend or terminate your contract, please complete and return the Change to Contract Form. If requesting to amend your sessions, completing this form does not guarantee the changes, these will be confirmed by a member of the management team.
